Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to bring to your kind notice that your flat wherein me and my friends are putting up at, needs lot of repair.
Firstly, there is no proper electricity supply or backup facility in your flat. Every second day, electricity is put off for a couple of hours which creates a hindrance in my studies. The supply is usually not there in evenings. Another obstacle is that the geyser in the bathroom is not in working condition from the time I have rented the flat. In this bitter cold we are making our own temporary arrangement for hot water. I feel pathetic about all these things. Moreover, I am unable to devote time in studies because every other day I am arranging for some or other workmen, but all in vain. They promise to come on weekends but never turn up.
I would like you to personally visit your flat along with some efficient workmen. Failing if, I would be deducting a certain amount of rent and would be giving a lesser amount as all these expenses were included in the rent agreement duly signed. My last resort would be to vacate the premises if things are not improved.
