You are studying for a qualification, and you would like some time off work to complete it.
Write a letter to your manager. In your letter:
Ask for some time off to complete a qualification.
Suggest what you will do later at work if you have time off.
Say how the qualification helps your job or company.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter requesting a period of leave. As you are aware I am currently studying a part-time course of Digital Marketing at the local university. I will require a few days off from work as my final test is approaching.
I understand that the work off is going to impact the production as we are at a crucial stage of the project; however, once my certification is completed I can not only work on achieving the target deadline at office hours but I can also work from my home if required. I hope this will have a positive impact in our productivity.
Moreover, the skill of Digital Marketing will surely be fruitful for our organization. Our business is going online in a few months and I can offer a support and utilize my knowledge of the subject to advertise our work on Internet, this will definitely boost up the sales and we can attain targets before the time limit.
I hope my request will be considered. Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
Neelam Macwan
