Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my grievances regarding the programs televised by your station. Nowadays serials promote a lot of violence and glorifies abusive behaviors. In addition, even though issues like suicide and depression is serious, yet they are are not tackled properly and characters are instead portrayed as mad.
Let me explain some of the programs I feel will be beneficial to society. Firstly, you can telecast Ted talks as it will give a ray of hope to people who have had or are in similar situations. Secondly, shows about animals can be aired, particularly in the evening when the children are home so that they gain better understanding and become more sensitive towards nature. Lastly, relaxing music shows in the night will help people to unwind and relax.
In my opinion, television has a large consumer base, and if the right shows are televised it can influence the society as a whole. Furthermore, informational programs helps in intellectual development and makes the audience more aware of their surroundings.
