I hope this letter find you in the best of spirits. I am writing this letter to inform you about my change in plans to pay a visit to Canada.
Although I have arranged everything as per the schedule and I even have a valid visa to travel, I am afraid my trip has to be postponed because of family commitments. My brother family has been blessed with a baby boy and I must look after a few family works such as receiving guests, while he occupied with formalities at the hospital.
It would be wonderful to see you after so long and I really wanted to meet you as much as you do, however, not this time. Hopefully, when you hear my excuse you will forgive me.
My visa would be acceptable for couple of years. I am planning to come to Canada next month and I can stay for 2 weeks, please do let me know if this works for you. I will find a suitable time for both of us otherwise.
