Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you in connection with the invitation received to me in regard to an interview for a placement to study Masters in Marketing at Wilson College. As per the invitation, I am required to be present on 16th September at 11.30 am, however, I am afraid to say I may not be able to make it at the expected time because of a previous appointment.

I have been working as a Marketing Executive at Social Kinnect for the past 8 months wherein I assist the Marketing Head in various media events as well as attend webinars on behalf of him. Unfortunately, I have an important webinar to attend at the same time as the interview is scheduled.

I am extremely apologetic for not being able to attend the interview, but I can manage to come later on the same day or else some other day. Kindly let me know if that is possible.

In addition to that, I would also like to know the duration of the interview and whether there would be any tests during it so that I can prepare myself accordingly.

Thank you for the invitation. I will look forward to hear from you.

Yours faithfully,

Kreena Sharma
