Dear Mr. Sagar,
I am writing this letter to inform you that am unable to pursue my ongoing evening course until end of this year. As you are aware, that I am working full time in a bank and nowadays due to excessive work pressure, am reaching home extremely late. Due to this reason, I have decided to discontinue my part time course for a while.
To be honest, my colleague has been admitted to IMH health centre for past two weeks and she has been diagnosed with depression problems. Therefore, she needs to stay warded for sometime to recuperate from her mental illness. My team and myself have visited her few times already and there seems to be no signs of early discharge. Thus, my boss has requested me to take over her responsibilities for few months till she recovers and joins back. Moreover, this extra workload is quite challenging and requires a lot of time and patience.
I hope you can understand my dilemma and excuse me for this year. Also, I definitely wish to continue and complete my course the next year in 2022. Please do share your schedule for the same and provide me with relevant dates and timings if applicable in advance.
