You have heard that a developer plans to build a shopping center near your home. Write a letter to the council:
- How you heard about the plan?
- Explain how you feel about it?
- Ask for more information about it?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing with regard to the construction of a shopping complex which is about to start in the following month. Since this complex is close to my house, I would like to know more about it as well as explain my concern regarding its construction.
Initially, people of my society were talking about the making of a shopping centre nearby; however, it did not think much about it until I saw a huge billboard confirming the claims of the residents.
As this construction is going to take place nearby my house, I have mixed feelings about it. Even though this complex may bring convenience in terms of purchasing goods, I am worried about the resulting noise due to traffic surge and from huge machines operating ceaselessly.
I have a few questions about this building. Firstly, is this building going to occupy the adjacent playground which is used by colony people for recreational activities? Also, does the construction work would stop at night or will continue throughout the specified timeline?
Please respond at your earliest convenience.
Yours faithfully,
Alex Barns
