My name is Kumar S Sampad and I am one of the proud candidates who received the job offer yesterday to work for your company. However, I am writing this letter to express some of my concern on the date of joining for the assigned role as your subordinate.
I must appreciate the culture of your organization that I have heard from the other people and experienced a bit during the recruitment process. To be honest, I was really looking for this sort of quality environment that will definitely boost my productivity and contribution to your company too. However, as stated in the offer letter, I am supposed to join at your team by the 1st of July this year, but, I am afraid, I am going to face few difficulties to make it on the dot. Let me explain a bit about the problem with that joining date.
As I am currently staying at Danforth with my family, and my kids are school going, therefore it will be quite tough for me to relocate and settle everything within this short span of time. I hope, an additional one week will be enough to shift my house and finalize other issues smoothly. I think, you understand the issue and will allow me to be the part of your company on 8th July accordingly. However, within this one-week time frame, I can conduct some self-study related to the job description as well as the nature of business in the community of Scarbrough.
