Dear Sir,
Lately, I received a communication from Bank to send the acknowledge receipt of new bank card. I am writing this letter to inform that courier which I received for new bank card did not have a bank card and only card manuals were in the packet.
This saving account was opened last week through my corporate as next month onward monthly salary will be credited in this account. I appreciate your fast response to get couriered the bank card within a week but efforts went futile as bank card is missing. Though I received the pin number in separate courier, there are still chances that card could be misused if reached to wrong person. Particularly with Internet based transaction, only card no and three digit printed on card are required to complete the shopping.
Hence, I request you not only block the card but also to investigate the matter how did card missing from envelop. This seems to be gross violation to me and overall may have financial repercussion. I have already communicated to bank emergency department about this incident. In the meanwhile, I would also request you to issue a new card so that could start the transactions with bank.
