Dear Mr. Smith,

I am international student of business administration final year at your prestigious university and presently accommodating at hall of residence on campus. This epistle is being written to report the robbery which took place yesterday night around 11’o clock.

Last night, I and my roommate, Andrew lee, were doing rehearsals for the youth festival which is going to held on 7th march, 2020. When we came back around 12p.m, we sensed something fishy. To our utter shock, we realized that some expensive items are not there in the locker and it was broken. The stolen items include golden jewellery that I was supposed to wear on upcoming fest, $10000 cash and one laptop of apple brand. We have put forward this theft to the housekeeping department but they act as ignorant in our case.

I solicit you to please look into this matter at the earliest. I would appreciate if you could provide assistance in locating our belongings. I think looking into the cctv footage could give us the evidence of the person who stole these things.

I expect you will help me to get my things back as soon as possible and thank you in advance for considering my matter.

Yours sincerely,

Peter Lee
