Dear Jack,
I came to your hotel yesterday to attend an important contract signing ceremony between our company and an international software house. We had concluded our meeting at 5:30 pm and left for home. I am writing this letter to seek your support as I have mistakenly forgot some very critical documents at the meeting hall. I was sitting in the front right corner of the hall and after signing ceremony I compiled all the papers and put them over seat next to me; I am sure they must be picked up later by your cleaning staff. That file contains some very important documents such as contract signing certificate, company’s financial statement of the year and also a copy of contract clauses. Those documents are of paramount importance for our company and should not be misplaced.
Therefore, I request you to get it checked immediately at the same place or check with your lost and found department if someone has submitted the file there. Once found, please courier them to my office address on my name. Please also make sure to make a copy of all the documents, scan them and share a soft copy with me as well. I am looking forward to your extended support here.
