You recently discovered that there are plans to build a new airport in your area and you are not happy with it. Write a letter to the local authority and say:– How did you get to know about the plans?– What problems will your neighborhood face?– Sug

Dear Sir,

I am writing to you to express my dissatisfaction about the idea of constructing a new airport in Vasant Mahal. To begin with, I would like to introduce myself, I am a retired government officer who is residing in this realm since fifteen years. But last week we came to know about this notion through a reliable source that is a local news paper "Gyan Bharti".

I will have to confess that this news is quite deplorable for all the citizens here for various legitimate reasons. Firstly, there are approximately twenty thousand people living here that will get disturbed by the noise pollution caused by the aircrafts. Secondly, it will inevitably result into over crowding and increase incidences of traffic jams. Additionally, there are two major schools here and thus it will have adverse effect on the studies of students as well.

Conspicuously, I would like to give you some advice that will at least curtail the immense detrimental effects of it to a certain extent. That is to make the runway far from the residential area and to change the route to reach the airport which means to make the way through Mansa road instead of Mahipalpur.

I apologize for the trouble but I would be grateful if you could make the aforementioned amendments.

Yours sincerely,
Rahul
