Write a letter to your friend. In your letter,
* invite him to stay and suggest a date
* briefly describe the new house and garden
* say why you like your new house
Dear Jimmy,
I am writing to let you know that I have recently moved to a new house and I would love for you to come over and spend a few days with me.
There is a long weekend coming in the third week of September and this would be a good time for us to catch-up and spend time together in my
new home. You should plan to come on Friday, 20th September evening straight after work and we can have fun during the weekend together, and we can leave for work together in the morning on Sunday, 22nd September.
The new house is really lovely and I am so happy with the location and layout of the house. It has 4 bedrooms, with one bedroom conveniently
located on the ground floor, especially handy for elderly visitors and 3 big bedrooms on the first floor. The house is located in a nice part
of the city and offers amazing views of the forest behind. I have a beautiful garden in the back with a vegetable patch where I am already growing some nice organic vegetables. The garden also has a barbecue area with a patio next to it. I have also set up a couple of hammocks to lie down and enjoy the view and the weather.
I really am loving the new house as it fits all my wish list of requirements, with enough storage space, plenty of fresh sunlight in all the rooms,
a dream kitchen with built-in cabinets with all appliances and a lovely sit down deck at the back to sit and enjoy my cup of coffee every morning.
I am so excited to have you over and look forward to seeing you on 20th September and spending time together in my new home.
Love,
Michelle
