I am writing this letter regarding the article published about Mr. Woo Aye in November 26th in Strait Time newspaper.
The article briefly described the biography and corruption cases committed by Mr. Aye. The biography started with his childhood life and it then followed by his work and corruption cases involved during his services in a Myanmar oil and gas company.
Some of the information provided in the biography are not accurate. It is stated that he was born in Yangon. Actually, Mr. Aye was born in Mandalay and he moved to Yangon at his age of five. I know this because he is my childhood classmate and we maintain a good relationship since then. Also his education is wrongly written as Bachelor Degree. In reality, he is a Doctor Degree holder.
It will be nice if you can publish the correction in the upcoming newspapers. I believe that the readers are also willing to receive precise information. Please do not hesitate to let me know if you need evidences on the information given.
