You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job.

Dear John,
I have received your letter for assistance in deciding the choice between college and job. I am really glad that you preferred me as a helping hand.
As I can see that you are already in mature age, I suggest you to lean in favour of going office rather than educational institute. Also the college you mentioned in the letter doesn't seems to be desirable for your current skill-sets.
According to me It would be quite reasonable and sensible for you to pick a working in industry as per your family prosperity. It also pay the dues you have since long pending from bank.
AS your skills suggest, there are certain kind of positions for you in Automotive industries like Machine Operator, Instrument Reader, Quality Analyst etc. Nevertheless, it is advisable that you opt for CAD designer owing to the fact that you are having CAD certificate and moreover it pays you well.
Though its your judgement call to relish either of it, my strong advise would always be toward getting placed in a organisation where there is continues stuffing of penny in your pocket. Let me know any further help, I will be there for you.

See you soon,
Amol
