Dear Madam,
I am writing to you to highlight the problems that I am facing with the bicycle parking near my work place.
It gives me immense pleasure to share that I have recently started commuting to work by bicycle as it is one of the best ways to conserve our natural environment. Not only is it eco-friendly but economical as well.
Earlier, I couldn't find time to exercise during week days owing to my busy work schedule. It is one of the best exercises for which I don't even have to set aside any specific time since it fits in my schedule so easily. I must admit that I have become agile since the time i started riding bicycle to work. I can see a positive change in my health owing to cycling.
I would like to bring it to your notice that there are two large garbage bins placed in the vicinity of bicycle parking lot which emit bad odor. Most of the times the lids of these bins are open and the waste is strewn in the nearby areas. This is hazardous to health and has also caused a lot of inconvenience. A lot of people have started parking their bicycles outside the stands causing unnecessary nuisance. While I am happy with my new routine of cycling to work, I am disappointed with the parking facilities.
Request you to change the place of garbage bins to a suitable spot so that the parking does not get affected. I hope you understand the urgency of situation and will take the necessary action as soon as possible.
