Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing in connection with your public disclaimer about closing sport center in Sunnyvale, Santa Barbara county. It is quiet heartening to say local council is not able to see the positive atmosphere this sport center creates among the county people.
This sport center is situated at the heart of the town and well connected with public or private transport. People spend their beautiful morning in adjoining garden with practicing Yoga and Meditation. I am used to going there with my friends every morning for some volleyball practice and some quality leisure time with family in evening. Moreover, This center served as the best coaching center to lots of kids in surrounding counties which didn't have sport facilities at that time.
Importance of this sport center is immense among the elders. As they are not frequent travelers they use this center as a meeting point with others and spend some quality time. Council is planning to demolish whole facility and construct a mega shopping mall instead of it is not fruitful for society. Development at cost of society is not acceptable at all. Council should not plan to generate revenue from every aspects of the society.
Hoping for your favorable response in this matter. If council wants me and my friends can visit them for further discussion on this matter as a representative from community.
