Dear Mr Smith,
I am writing this quick letter to request you about not to close the one and only sports and leisure centre for the purpose of saving money.
The local sports centre is the best place for children to play various sports of their choice. I also go there regularly with my friends to play badminton. We also take part in table-tennis tournaments every year. Moreover, it is also the best suitable place for the community to organize family functions because of the availability of a beautiful garden. It is also a place for families to go there for dinner usually in summer.
As the centre is the only available space in the whole area, it is essential for family get-together and other social functions. It has large café with a nice atmosphere, badminton and tennis courts as well as a football playground. It is one of the reasons behind children’s interest in sports and their fitness. More than half of the juveniles are permanent members at this centre.
Children won’t be able to play nearby their homes and community will have to rent some other place to organize their event.
I see closing centre as not the better solution for saving money. It has hundreds of other lives attached and with many advantages to people’s health and fitness.
