Dear Madam,
I am writing this letter to show my concern regarding proposed closure of sports and leisure centre that is being run in our locality at present.
This center has become a part of our life in a way that every morning and evening, I myself, my parents and few of my friends visit this not only to remain healthy and fit but also to enjoy some leisure activities like carom board, chess and live music. This has proven to be a great stress buster after having a day long tight schedule almost every day.
These kinds of recreational activities are very significant from children’s’ perspective as they are in the learning stage and try to become independent and hone their social quotient. Similarly, this centre also has a relevance for all the persons like me and even the older groups where all of us get a chance to spend quality time with other affiliates and refresh our mind, heart and soul. Imagine how dejected everyone would feel if they discover that the authorities are planning to shut it down. Also, this action will leave the staff unemployed as this may be the only source of their family income.
I would request you to kindly consider my apprehension and think on it rationally asstakeholder’s interest will get affected due to its cessation.
