Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my concern with the action to close the sports and leisure center, which is totally unacceptable for my family and friends, particularly the children in our community.
Firstly I understand the consideration to save the public budget by our concil. While I contend that there will be more side effects than merit from the money saved. At least 30 children including my son and my friends' are in the red eagle team which competiting with the other 2 teams for the national champaign in the youth basketball league, they get trained and played matches in this center since they entered primary school. WIthout this place, they could not only chase their basketball dream but also fight for our community again.
Secondly, for most of the residence in our community, we would like to take our family to this center for fun at weekends, watching the red eagle's game, playing tennis or watch movies. This place is more than a center but a place for people to enjoy their times.
I kindly propose that we can alternate the policy that not close this center.
