The line graph illustrates the number of tourists and local people who travel in the UK and overseas respectively, during 1979 to 1999 and the bar chart describes the majority of the UK citizens who visited internationally tour in the famous 5 countries across the years. Overall, it can depict that the portion of the UK residents had the most significant number in million during travelling aboard. Whereas, the lowest number in million had visited by UK general, people in the Turkey.

To begin with, In 1979, the figure of general people of the UK stood with 13 million and slightly increased in 1984 up to 20 million. Subsequently, this trend shown dramatically rose across a decade up to 55 million. What is remarkable is the tourists who visited the UK shown gradually risen up to 28 million in 1999, whereas on the other side, mostly UK residents visited in the France up to 12 million, which is the almost half of overseas travelers in the corresponding year.

Furthermore, It is worth to mention that the portion of UK residents had also visited Turkey, Greece, USA and Spain, where it’s accounted for 2, 3, 4 and 8 million respectively.
