Cyclists and car drivers sharing the same road cause some problems. What are the problems? What are the solutions?

Nowadays, it’s common to see cars and bicycles travelling in the same lane. This matter might cause a number of issues. This essay will discuss the problem and possible solutions.

There are two main problems when bicycles and automobiles share the same lane. Initialy, if car drivers and cyclists travel in a shared way, there's a higher possibility for a fatal accident to occur due to the different sizes and speeds of the vehicles. In that case, the heavier and faster cars might cause a fatality to the one who rides a bicycle. In addition, it’s tough to maintain a smooth flow of traffic since the drivers have to wait and give way, which increases the chance of traffic congestion.

Some solutions are available to avoid the inconvenience. Building a separated lane is one of the most efficient answers; thus, cars and bicycles are able to run at their own speed and avoid each other's involvement. Most importantly, traffic participants should limit their own velocity in places where the lane division is unavailable. Likewise, they ought to be trained to drive safely in shared places.

To sum up, cyclists and car drivers travelling in the same lane might cause several issues, such as fatal accidents and congestion. Although the problems can be solved by building separate lanes and limiting the driver's speed on shared roads,
