The diagrams illustrate two tunnels in different places namely MontBlanc and Railway Tunnel. Mont- Blanc was built on France and Italy from 1957 to 1965. Other tunnel is based on two island in Japan and constructing at the period 1946-1988.
Overall, it is clear that while the tunnel located in France and Italy had the depth higher than the other in Japan but its length was completely shorter than in Japan.
The first diagram gives the constructive picture about the across Mont-Blanc Road tunnel. This road is long 11.6 km, from eastern Italy to the western France. Accounted from the lowest point to the highest point of this tunnel, It takes around 3,5 km.
The remaining picture shows the Railway Tunnel road, which was constructed in Japan took over than 40 years. As can seen from the picture, its length is totally longer than Mont-Blanc road,with closed to 54 km, linking Hakodate City, Hokkaido island with Aomori City and Japanese island. Another point is the depth of sea levels in this tunnel is 24m, quite special to compare with the tunnel road in France and Italy
