Over the last few years, several print and visual media outlets incorporating images to authenticate their news reports. Although it is thought by some that photographs are untrustworthy way to convey news across the world, others believe that pictures are undeniable and inevitable source of evidence. In my opinion, I consider that photographs are mandatory to gain public support towards national and international issue and to boost tourism.
On the one hand, some people think that numerous media channels like newspapers, television, radio and other online sources add edited pictures to give emphasis on veracity of news reports, though it is not very common practice. For example, news channel that support one political party, could amend the news by editing images to criticize another opposition party for some controversial governmental issues, eventually could mislead the public. Furthermore, sometimes engaging promotional advertisement could misguide the reader or viewer. For instance, in some cases, spectacular illustrations of products lure person to buy those items regardless of their inappropriate quality.
On the other hand, it is considered by some that photographs are imperative to depict in news article or story to widespread news effectively amid public. To illustrate, some national or international issues such as, terrorist attack, assault cases, natural calamities and others devastating problems, invariably need to grab public attention to depict depth of damage. Photographs, therefore, is essential part of this news section to gain massive public support for the people in grieve. Moreover, tourism industry related advertisement in newspaper and travel magazines depict awesome photographs of beautiful sceneries of unexplored or well acquainted of all over the world that yearn people to travel those extraordinary places and ultimately beneficial for country's economy.
To conclude, while people may vary in their opinion, I believe that picture depiction to support news articles by numerous media outlets is necessary to widespread the news facts to obtain public awareness and to boost country's economy by supporting tourism related advertisements.
