I am writing to thank you for the promotion and for the trust shown. Our team is highly professional and friendly and I am happy to be a part of it. However, being a leading specialist in our company I always felt that I was able to improve many aspects in the working process of our department.
Therefore, taking into account that my new responsibilities include management and planning of new projects of our department, I suggest focusing on surveying the terrain using unmanned aerial vehicles. It is relatively cheap and will save a lot of time. In addition, the resolution of the images obtained from a drone is significant and lets us identify small objects such as wells and power transmission columns.
Once again, I really appreciate that you decided to appoint me to the position of manager. I will do my best to live up to the trust.
