You have organized to go on holiday with you friend. However, you must change your plans.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
•Tell them how much you are looking forward to the holiday.
•Explain why you must change your plans.
•Suggest alternative arrangements.
Dear John,
It’s been long since we last met but I haven’t forgotten the wonderful moments that we spent together in college. As you are aware that, for catching up, I had arranged a get together at my place during Easter holidays but now I’m afraid I have to reschedule this arrangement because of an urgent matter at office.
I was very excited and looking forward to meeting you and have already organized the list of places that we need to visit during vacation. Also, I have shortlisted the famous food places as I know that how much you like eating.
Actually, my name is included in the team building event that is organized by my company in Thailand and it is coinciding with our plans. The human resource department has already cancelled my Easter holidays for this purpose.
Let’s meet up during summers as the weather over here will be perfect to travel and visiting various places. Also, a circus is coming to the town so we will have fun.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Best of luck.
James.
