TPO-30 - Independent Writing Task Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is more enjoyable to have a job where you work only three days a week for long hours than to have a job where you work five days a week for shorter hours. Use spec

A job plays a significant role in our daily lives. In other words, our lives depend on our job. People believe that no one can live without a job. Therefore, people consider how many days and how many hours to work a week is more enjoyable. Each of us has our own preferences. Some people like to work three days for longer hours. However, others would love to work five days a week for shorter time. In my opinion, I prefer to have a job that allow me to work three longer days than five shorter days. I feel this way for two reasons, which I will explore in the following essay.
First of all, three long working days per week enable me to have more time to study. I am a nurse. Besides working in the hospital, I continue learning to get a master’s degree in nursing in order to improve my ability and enhance my knowledge. Hence, I need plenty of time to do more research to understand my major more deeply and widely. If I work only three long days per week, I am able to use the time of the rest of a week to go to school and to go to library without worry about my job. In fact, I am really enjoyable now, because last month my boss accepted my request to work on three long days a week.
Secondly, working three long days a week allows me to save more money from commuting, and save time as well. Every day, I have to go back and forth from my house to my workplace, no matter how long I stay at work. It usually takes me at least an hour to drive. If I work three long day, I do not need to go to work every day. As a result, I can save a lot of money for gases. Likewise, I can use one hour for driving to do other things, such as take care my family, go shopping, and relax or visit my friends. Indeed, I can benefit tremendously from working three longer day rather than working five shorter days.
Last but not least, working three long days per week allow people to protect their globe from pollution. We all acknowledge that the more we drive the more we waste carbon dioxide into the environment. Meanwhile, it seems to me that in the United State everyone has her or his own car. Therefore, the rate of pollutions that people emit to the atmosphere is considerable. If we work three long days we will use our vehicles lesser than working five days per week. As a result, we are able to save our environment.
In conclusion, people have their own preferences and ideas to work for three longer days or five shorter days per week. For three reasons, which I have just mentioned above, I strongly believe that working three longer days is more enjoyable, because it not allows me to save time and save money,
