European silver coins

The lecturer, however, rebuts this by mentioning that it is not necessarily they didn't bring silver coin with them, but they took it back to Europe. She elaborates on this by bringing up the point that Norse people brought silver coin when they came to North America and then they took it back again when they went back to Europe.
Finally, the author posits that there is no use of European coins. Moreover, the article stated that the Americans did not use the silver coins because the Americans found them useless. In contrast, the lecturer's position is that the coins might not have value today as to how was valuable in Europe, but they are interesting. She notes that American found coins interesting, and attractive that is why coins used in trade.
In conclusion, the lecturer's opinion is opposing the author's opinion.
