hypothesis of using star for navigating in humpback whales.

Essay topics:

hypothesis of using star for navigating in humpback whales.

The passage talks about humpback whales, and clarifies that these animals are able to travel and migrate with using stars. Although, the lecture has some significant points that show it is not true. Hence, the lecture refuses the passage reasons.
First and foremost, the passage explains that humpback whales seem to be intelligent enough to use stars for navigating, but as the lecture mentions, there is not any remarkable connection between intelligence and the ability of navigating. As a matter of fact, docks use stars for navigating, while docks do not have spectacular intelligence for navigating. Therefore, whales do not have brilliant intelligence for navigating.

Secondly, the passage says that due to whales move in the straight lines, so they should be in expose of some external forces or objects. The lecture explains that humpback whales are influenced by earth magnetic force. Actually, these whales have bio magnetite in their brain that cause they be sensitive to magnetic force. Thus, humpback whales use bio magnetite rather than stars for navigating.
Third, the passage talks about a rare behavior in humpback whales. These whales sometimes exhibit themselves floating straight up for minutes, so it seems they use stars for navigating. The lecture denies this hypothesis, because there are sharks that have spy-hopping to see animals and stars. On the other hand, humpback whales have this rare behavior even there is no star in sky and they cannot see them. Nutshell, these whales do not use stars for navigating
