The speaker, however, tends to cast a doubt upon the performance of the idea. He provides several arguments which undermine the theory of reward system. Such effect, according to the orator, simply caused by employee’s attitude toward the system. Some people see it as a leverage, by which employers try to manipulate them. Moreover, the similarity of the reward system with a punishment system is quite obvious. Indeed, as the speaker states - the more desirable the reward, the more disappointment of failing to get it.
