Pterosaurs were an ancient group of winged animal.....

The article and the lecture both discuss pterosaurs capability of flying, an ancient winged animal that lived with dinosaurs. The author claims that such birds are unable of fly. The lecturer, however, refutes the author's claims and provide three reasons to support his opinion.

The first allegation of the script against which the author argues is that pterosaurs cannot fly because they are considered cold blooded animals. However, the lecturer disputes this point by claiming that because these animals have feathers, they are considered similar to the warm blooded animals. In other words, they have high metabolic rate. and are capable of producing energy. This energy facilitate flying for a longer period of time

Secondly, according to the text pterosaurs are not capable of flying because they have high weight. The lecturer find this idea debatable. He agrees that these animals are large in size, however, he states that they are relatively light in comparison to their size. According to the lecturer what makes these animals fly is their hollow bone which makes them lighter than what they look.

Finally, the author claims that pterosaurs have weak back limbs which makes them not able to fly. Again the lecturer disagree with the author's opinion by stating that these animals do not use only their back limbs to fly, instead they use all their four limbs. He contends, that by using their four limbs, they can easily lift their body off the ground because they can have extra strength to fly.
