As a result, native people did not need to kill many of cow. Therefore, declination in cow population was not from native people hunting.
Other reason the writer asserts, sea cow extinicted due to ecosystems disturbances. He said , this change lead to decrease in kelp that used by cow as a food sources. The professor refutes this point. She state, if cow population decrease as a result of ecosystem disturbances, why there was no other animal affected by this change.
