Team work

Essay topics:

Team work

The reading and the lectuer are both about which better for working to work on team or individually. The authoe of the reading believes that working on team has a lot of advanteges. The lectuer cast doubt on the claims made in the article. He thinks that working in team might cause a lot of problem for the project.

First of all, the author points out that a group of people is more skillful because they share their knowlege and expertises. This pont is challenged by the lecturer. He says one of the companies made a team woek to work on its project, and it found that the members of the team could not share the ideas because one or two of the members of the team refused the ideas without iny discussion.
Secondly, the authoe contends that the huge resources which members of the team have lead to work more quickly and gives a creative solution to problems and issues. The article notes sometimes the member individually can not take arisky decision, but the team work is more likely to take dangerous decisions. The lecturer rebuts this argument. He suggests the team work in the company could not reach to a good solution for the problems, and they were unresposibility.

Finally, the author states that the conterbutions of the member in a team will be better than individually because he or she want to be more active in his or her groub and try to show off and comptitive in the decisions. The lecturer, on the other hand, posits that the company found 1 or 2 from the members who contribute and the other just go after them.
