In this set of materials the reading describes that working in a group is better than alone to obtain more beneficial results whereas in the listening discusses that not always is better for a member work in a project as a group. Both, lecture and reading have own point of views.

In the reading passage is mentioned the best form to achieve significant goal is through work team. Are given some reasons to this affirmation. One of the motives given is, in collaboration the people improve their results because each one add knowledge, expertise and skills. Working as individually way cannot provide the same results. In other hand, working together could be faster than alone, since the group is form by more than one brain, this mean, more efficient to save time and spend less on it. However, working in a group bring more risk to take decisions, the reasons is because people could be more confidence to got the responsibility as a group than alone. For all above, when the people keep up in collaboration have more possibility to shine.

In contrast with the reading passage, the listen argument that the teamwork will receive a good recognition as whole, but no names will be mentioned. Thus, it is unfair to the people who work and give the best effort to achieve the goals than another one who never give any input. Furthermore, this way of work could result more slow to accomplish, in spite of will be more brains, that not mean that will expedite the work, contrary with this, is difficult reach an agreement. In the other hand, if there is a fail, all the members of the group have responsibility about it.
