The reading and the lecture both discuss replacement fuel for cars. While the reading states that by using hydrogen as fuel, it creates electricity because hydrogen based on fuel- cell and has many advantages. The lecture refutes this, saying that hydrogen is a finite resource and oil is fuel resource.
First, the reading claims that one problem is internal -combustion engine depends on Petroleum. According to the reading, hydrogen includes water and natural gas and easily available and does not finish anytime .However ,the lecture argues that hydrogen not easily available and it creates by processes and according to the professor technologically difficult to produce and also keeps very cold about 253zero.
In addition, the reading makes the arguments that hydrogen based on cell and can solve pollution because the reading said carbon dioxide burned by oil and water is created by fuel -cell and does not harmful. The lectures counter this point by stating that using hydrogen not solve problems that associated with cars and for this car should be using purification presses to burn oil and gas and it cause a lot of pollution.
Lastly, the reading passage argues that fuel-cell become economically and people like to spend less money to operate fuel-cell engine .The lecture refutes this claim there won't necessary to cost saving when the manufacturer considers expensive fuel-cell
