genetic modification is a branch of science which changes DNA of species and as a consequence, their characteristics will changed. for example this science is used for trees which make them have more benefits. hera are some of the advantages of modified trees. first, this type of trees can resist more in worse conditions such as virus attacts. althogh, genetically modified treescan grow faster and they can have more fruits in comparison with native trees. this can be an economical benefit. a large number of jungles all around the world are ruined because of cutting trees for firewood or building timber. with the use of modified trees, we can increase the speed of tree growth and we can jobran this problem and preserve native trees which are unique or rare species.
althoghthis method has advantages, it has disadvantages too. one of the most pros is resistance in some bad conditions like climate change. as native trees are different from each other, if bad conditions happen they will not respond in the same way and some of them can resist in this condition but modified trees are all same and in this situation all of them will die.
the growth speed of wild trees is less than modified trees and modified trees slow down the growth rate of wild trees which have important variety species. as a conclusion althogh gen modifing is a strong way but it has pros and nons and it should be investigated more before usage.
