Archaeologists found clay jars in Iraq that has been excavated by village people two years earlier. The vessels in these jars may refers to creating electricity by using batteries. The reading passage thinks that there are some reasons that contradict with the idea of generating electricity. But the lecturer thinks that passage's ideas aren't convincing.
The reading passage mentions that archaeologists didn't find any metal wires near the excavation site. Ancient people will need some conductors for using electricity. But the lecturer thinks that maybe local people didn't recognize the importance of conductors and put them away.
The reading passage mentions that copper cylinders inside of jars is exactly like copper cylinder that used for holding scrolls of sacred texts and these jars were not used for electricity. But according to lecturer this doesn't prove anything and they may used copper and iron to produce electricity.
Finally, the reading passage mentions that ancient people didn't need to use electricity. Because, they didn't have any equipments that needed electricity. But the lecturer thinks that they may used electricity as an invisible power for shocking and also medical applications. Like healing and muscle reflection and etc.
