The lecture and the reading both discuss the possiplity of life in Venus. On the first hand, the reading states that the conditions on Venus make the human life impossible with three reason of suggest. On the other hand, the lecture suggest a solution for this proplem that mentioned in the reading passage by establish a station flooded on the Venus atomesphere.

First of all, the reading claims that atmospheric pressure at Venus' surface is greater than the preassure at Earth’s surface. However, the lecture argues that the station will be at 50 kilometers highest aboth the Venus surface this will make the pressure on the station equall that on the Earth.

In addition, the reading makes the argument is that the none reservoirs of water and oxygen on Venus’ surface and the planet’s atmosphere make the life impossible as well. The lecture counter this point by saying that this is a well known phisical proplem and can be solved by produced water and oxygen on the station by using carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and sulfuric acid which easely obtained in Venus.

Lastly, the reading argues that the thick clouds that fill the atmosphere reflect back the sunlight to reach the planet's surface. The lecture refutes this claim by pointing out that the station will absorb this sunlight reflected by thick clouds.
