TPO-48 - Integrated Writing Task

The reading claims that frog populations is declining and propose three methods to solve the problem. However, the professor explains that these methods are not practical solution and find all methods with problem.

The author states that pesticides are harming frogs and law can prohibit the farmers to use. The lecturer bring up the idea that it is not economical. He states that farmer are depend on pesticides and if this law prohibit some special areas, their farmer will faced sever disadvantages and lose the market to other farmers from other areas because their yield will decrease.

Furthermore, the reading passage argues that frogs are sensitive to fungus and it can be solve by applying antifungal medication. While the professor dismisses this method because first frogs should be capture and medication apply individually to every frog and it not possible. According to professor, this medication should apply to every generation again and again and this is so expensive.

Finally, the article poses that, frogs lay their eggs in water and they are threat by human’s activities. Water habitats like lakes and marshes should be protect from excessive water use. Conversely, the professor states that this will not save frog population due to the fact that global warming is increasing and cause waters to disappear.
