The article and the lecture both about the frog species and its declining consequences day by day. The reading passage believes that the frog species is becoming decrease now-a-days and it has a negative influence on the society as this population in turn, save the people. While the lecturer made claims on the article. She mentioned that it seems not exactly and directly proportional to this effect, there are many problem by these theories.

First of all, the author points out that chemicals pesticide, which is used to destroy the insects species also, killing the frog population. So the farmers should eliminate the chemical by the adjacent area for frogs. This point is challenged by the professor. She states that this chemical is not directly cause effect to the them, in spite of, they kill bacteria and save the crops by inhibit the little organism and economical supports the farmer as well.

Secondly, the reading passage contends that, a fungus (disease destroying the frog community) is a huge problem and also infected the frog generation. This statement is rebuts by the lecturer. She says that if mainly the fungus is affecting the frog and treatment is not carrying the overall population, thus it does not meant that it treating all the future generation as well because it transmit genetically to the eggs.

Last, the article establishes that, due to human wasting effort, like: wastage of too much water, this cause frogs losing their natural habitat and there is declining occur. The professor, on the other hand, posits that this is not the major factor, in fact, the global damaging initiates the problem, not by the human using water, because it is also very beneficial for the human population.
