In this set of material,the author and the professor discusses the doubts about whether some paintings belong to Rembrandt.The reading thinks that a painting portrait a woman with a fur does not belong to this artist, and submit some of reasons to support his idea.However,the listening repudiates what stated in the article and provides three counterclaims proofing that the reasons are not convincing.
First,the speaker states that after X-ray analysis , scientists proof that the color of the woman's fur had been added hundred years later..She thinks may be to increase the value of that painting.But the original colors belongs to Rembrandt.Which casts suspicious of the reading passage.
Second, the professor explains the error of the light shadow illumination by suggestion that that shadow had been added by different artist which had different style than Rembrandt;therefore, the shadow of light was not partial as the article states and the real beneath shado was realistic and belongs to the famous Dutch painter.
Third,the lecture states that when the fur of the woman in the painting had been added ,those howm made it need to add extra woods above the real one.And after examination the scientists proof that the original wood of the painting are made from the same tree of other Rembrandts painting.Which completely refutes what the reading passage suggested.
