A male student and a female student is talking. The female student has signed up for a group guitar class, but the class was canceled because there are too few students in the class.
She is considering about hiring a private teacher from the musical department to teach her once a week. She says that she could learn a lot and learn efficiently, but the only disadvantage is that the hiring fee is too expensive for her to afford. She also proposes another solution which is to practice for herself. She can buy a book with CDs for beginners. The CDs could be really helpful to beginners. And it’s also cheaper. But it will require discipline to keep on practicing. She is not sure if she could follow.
