Your professor is asking you to help with some research on the weekend, but you have planned to go to your sister’s birthday party. Which would you choose?

To be honest, family always comes first for me, and I would choose to go to my sister's birthday party because it's her sweet sixteen birthday and I don't want to miss it. I've done research before and one thing is for sure, it's not going to be done over the week-end, it's long and requires a lot of time to get it done, be it laboratory work or article reading and I would miss out the party. Nevertheless, I would apologize to the professor that I am busy this week-end and ensure that I will begin immediately on Monday morning.
