The bar chart and table illustrate statistics about fishing in millions in different regions from 1970 to 2000.

The chart shows a significant increase in Asia, which was the high-ranking official if compared with all regions in 1970, 1980 and 2000 at 9-13-24 million. Coming second in 1970 with 1.3 million, Africa rose to 2 million in 1980 and 2000. Breathtakingly, South America had steady number of fishers in 1.2 million during the period. While the fluctuation occurred in Europe with 0,6 million in 1970, this region contracted to 0,3 million in 1980 and returned to 0,6 million ...
