You have received a letter from your local video shop claiming that a DVD you rented is now overdue. However, you have already returned the DVD. Write to the video shop. In your letterTell them which film the letter is aboutExplain when you returned itTel

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter in response to the rent overdue letter I received from your store, it was mentioned in the letter that the DVD I borrowed has passed the return date. Kindly note that I have already returned the mentioned movie on the due date.

Let me explain you further, I had borrowed Mission impossible movie from your store on 20th June and the rent period as per standards was 1 week. Exactly after a week on 27th June I went to your shop to return the DVD, but since it was almost 8.00 pm and the shop was about to close the staff took the movie and kept it in the drawer below the cash counter, he said he was getting late and had to rush. He did not keep the movie in the showcase where normally you keep your stock. Perhaps, you can check the drawer I am sure the DVD would be there.

For future, I would like to suggest you to please keep a spare cabinet other than the main showcase where the staff can store the movies in similar situation as mine. If you cannot find the required DVD you can always go through these collections.

Hope you will be able to find the DVD.

Thank you,
Jane Doe.
