the table below shows the expenditures of four car companies in the UK in 2002.

The table compares advertising budgets of four automobile manufacturing companies in the UK in 2002. Among the four, Renault evidently spent the greatest amount on advertisement altogether. Figures also indicate a pattern, featuring TV as the most invested form of promotion while the opposive was true for cinema.

The most impressive set of data belongs to TV, which was the primary form of advertising for all four companies. Cetirizine paid upto 70 million dollars for it, which is followed by investments of Vauxhall and Renault (65 million and 59 million, respectively), while Rover only spent 35 million. However, whereas Renault and Rover allocated comparatively significant amounts of money on press promotion (45 million and 38 million dollars), the other two paid much less: $12 million by Cetirizine and $8 by Vauxhall.

Interestingly, radio advertising attracted the same amount of investment, 15 million dollars, from all 4 companies. The last two forms were less important. $7 million was budgeted for outdoor promotion by Renault and Vauxhall, which was more than double the amounts spent by Rover and Cetirizine. Similarly, cinema only attracted Renault and Vauxhall, which paid 6 and 5 million dollars for promotion and negligible amounts from the other two.
