Revenue Sources and Expenditures of a USA Charity in one year
As the picture attaches, it describes the portion of both revenue sources and expenditures over a year for children’s charity in USA. Generally, the total of money that this organization received was greater than its expenditure. The largest piece of each chart, however, stated that program services as a part of expenditure was bigger than donated food as a source of receipts.
A glance at revenue chart, donated food, as the most notable part, took 86.6% of its sources. The other parts which were not significantly contributing such as: community was about 10.4%, program revenue brought in 2.2%, investment and government grants (both were the same by 0.2%), and lastly was other at 0.4%.
On the other hand, program services were the largest outgoings that took 95.8%. The following parts were fundraising by 2.6% and Management & General at 1.6%.
Overall, the total of revenue was much greater than what they spent, about $53,561,580 and $53,224,896 respectively.
