The line graph illustrates shifts in the percentage of people visiting the movie theater once or more than once a month during a 19-year starting from 1984.
Overall, people tend to like going to the cinema, in spite of some fluctuations. In addition, there were more people in age 15 to 24 visiting the cinemas, compared to others.
Moving to a more detailed analysis, in 1984, over 15% of people between 15 to 24 years old went to the movie theater once a month or more, as opposed to a mere 2% of visitors aged 35% and over. During the given period, the figure for visitors between 15 to 24 years old grew consistently to nearly 35% in 1992, before fluctuating dramatically standing at 50% at the end of the year 2003. Meanwhile, a slight rise was witnessed in people aged 35 and over, at approximately 20% in 2003.
Another point is 10% of people from 7 to 14 years old visited the cinema in the first year which was about twice higher as visitors between 25 to 34 years old. Afterward, both figures increased erratically for 19 years and stopped at nearly 30%.
