He is of the opinion that many forests around the world are being cut down faster and the genetically modified trees can replace them. The lecturer, on the other hand, feels that genetically modified trees damages the local wild trees. She puts on forth the idea that since the modified trees grow more aggressively, the wild trees are being destroyed.
