Everyone needs success in life. All strive hard to achieve their goals and become successful in life. Long term goals last for more time rather than the short term goals. Every one aims to achieve great heights and flourish in their lives. Currently, youth is seeking for immediate fame and recognition. Maximum of youth are aiming to reach heights within overnight just like becoming overnight stars. Youth should realize that striving hard gives fruitful results and accomplishment. Thus, I agree with the statement that youth people should be encouraged to pursue long-term, realistic goals rather than seek immediate fame and recognition.
In the present day of life, everyone wants success overnight. They should realize that striving hard gives them fruitful results. Consider an example of tortoise and rabbit, where a race is held between rabbit and tortoise. In that race, the rabbits run very fast to win the race, on the other side the tortoise walks slowly without expecting a success. The rabbit takes a rest at a place and sleeps there assuming that the tortoise would never defeat the rabbit. However the scenario will be totally changed when the rabbit is out of sleep. He saw that the tortoise crossed the line and won the race. This saying “Slow and steady wins” will always be true. So, one should steadily strive hard for their aims and achieve it. One should know that, one should strive hard and should profoundly know about it in order to accomplish one’s goal.
In this generation, youth are seeking immediate fame. However they should know that working on realistic goals and pursuing them for a long time can bring them success. There are many inventions that took so much time in order to achieve but the accomplishments made by them would get recognition for all their effort.
There are also people who got fame in a skimpy time and they strived very hard in order to achieve the accomplishment. It is credible that pursuing long-term, realistic goals gives a great fame and recognition.
Thus, I conclude the blanket statement young people should be encouraged to pursue long-term, realistic goals rather than seek immediate fame and recognition. They should know that their hard work provides them a great accomplishment, fame, recognition and can never twirl.
